Sales Consultant: Commercial Food Service Equipment (Gauteng)

Candidates who are or were in the foodservice distribution business, restaurant managers, restaurant operations, sold restaurant equipment or supplies, or managed the front of the house operations for a foodservice establishment all a plus.
Start date: Position available immediately Responsibilities Build the territory by hunting for new clients or from their own existing relationships Employ product knowledge to educate and sell prospect base Demonstrate mastery of consultative selling by generating interest and cultivating relationships Call and engage prospective properties and promote the value of dealing with our company Make product recommendations based on the needs of the business Provide samples, fliers, or catalogs and discuss product features, advantages and benefits based on client needs Quote prices, convey credit terms, and prepare sales contracts Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure that customers pay invoices within agreed upon terms Travel for company functions, sales meetings, conferences and training sessions Submit forecasting and sales reports as requested by management Submit sales and expense reports in a timely manner Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities Two to five years sales experience with proven record of sales success and history of accomplishments preferred Candidates who are or were in the foodservice distribution business, restaurant managers, restaurant operations, sold restaurant equipment or supplies, or managed the front of the house operations for a foodservice establishment all a plus Stellar business ethics Professional demeanor, vibrant personality, and the ability to instill trust in prospects and customers Goal-oriented and driven self-starter who can work independently or with a team Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and customer service skills Computer literacy that includes Internet navigation and use of Microsoft Office as well as company technology and software Capacity to convey ideas effectively and sell a variety of products; possess strong closing skills
