A Crafond is hand cast and has the look and feel of cast iron. But Lightweight!
The new non-stick coating used by Crafond ® is the water-based 4EW, it does not contain Nickel, heavy metals, PFOA and solvents. It is designed in four layers and each is reinforced with materials of a similar hardness to diamond. Cookware with non-stick coatings can be heated to temperatures up to 260 ° C without damaging the coating. This temperature is far higher than that needed for boiling, frying, baking. There is also no health hazards associated with ingesting particles of non-stick material allowing for a safe, enjoyable cooking experience.
Care & Tips:
While heating the pan up, turn your hob down slightly, this will save energy and money!
Never place your Crafond directly at high temperature, but allow it to evenly distribute the heat. This is especially important for use on induction hob. You may damage the pan base!
Crafond is suitable for any domestic grill, or in any domestic oven.
You may use any utensils with our cookware with care, though if using metal, do not scrape, poke or prod the interior, we recommend high heat silicon. Never cut your food inside a Crafond.
