Catering Equipment Technician (Western Cape)

 Responsiblilities:

• Repair and maintain catering equipment e.g. ovens, coffee machines, stoves

• Attend to callouts or workshop repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment

• Provide feedback and quotations for work to be performed

• Research faults in technical manuals and report faults to technical manager

• Report all defects and/or conditions preventing the completion of maintenance

• Ensure that equipment for all production departments is available and in good working condition

• Ensure that Job cards are completed, signed off and processed

• Ensure that spares are recorded and report shortages

• Assist in housekeeping

• Ensure that area of responsibility complies with Health and Safety regulations and procedures

• Ensure compliance with all HACCP and ISO rules and regulations

Experience:

• Electrical, mechanical, gas and refrigeration repairs.

• Candidate must have Matric and qualification N4 or N5 Mechanical, electrical experience

• At least 2-5yrs experience in similar position

• Clean record of employment is also required
